How is Holden's Relationship With Jane Different Than the Other Relationships With Girls He Discuss

Holden's relationship with Jane is different than the other girl he discusses because unlike the other girls, he cares about Jane. Every time he feels lonely, he always decides to think about the times he spends with her. Although he "... wouldn't exactly describe her as strictly beautiful" he was happy to be with her and spend time with her. From the time he played checkers with her to the time he showed her his brother's glove, it seems that Jane will always have a special place in his heart. With the other girls for an example Sally, he doesn't have any feelings for her. He just wants a friend to spend time with.
